NW Premier 12U Scores And Highlights 10-3-18

CD Panthers            21
Auburn Panthers      0 (forfeit)
Auburn, still reeling from last weeks injuries, forfeited in 1st quarter due to injury and lack of additional players to field and continue competitive play.

Benson Bruins     22
Seatac Sharks        0
In this highly anticipated “Game of the Week” match-up between the two remaining undefeated 12U teams, Benson jumped out to early 6 – 0 lead with a impressive 20  yard touchdown run by Jason Brown. Following the touchdown, the Bruins defense continued to fire on all cylinders producing a tackle for a loss safety by linebacker Xavier Agasid to put Benson up 8-0, and the Bruins never looked back.
Both Teams struggled offensively with the outstanding play of the opposing defense but the Bruins scored two more touchdowns late in the 4th quarter. One being a quarterback sneak by Devon Forehand; the second came on a kickoff return fumble by the Sharks which Davion Dawson recovered and scampered 38 yards for the final touchdown for the Bruins. The mighty Bruins defense was tested against a big, strong SeaTac Sharks team and they delivered. Benson held the Sharks scoreless, and notched another shutout. The Bruins have not been scored on yet this season.

5 Star Cougars     13
BGC Seahawks      6
BCG’s Davontae Redding scored on a 41 yard run, as the Seahawks  put up a great fight against the 5 Star Cougars. The Seahawks defense had several great stops that kept them in the game. There were impressive runs by Davontae Redding and Sir Naomas Failautusi. With some amazing defensive plays by the Seahawks’ Junior Neko-Semo and Lau’au Maka.

Beacon Hill Cowboys   40
Tacoma Spartans            0
The Boyz from the Hill came into the game in need of a win in a big way after disappointing losses in the last two weeks and they didn’t go home disappointed this weekend. Led by Myking Lee’s four touchdowns on offense and tenacious play on defense that included a strip on defense and a handful of solo tackles on defense. Dem Boyz were not to be denied a victory. Latravious Coe showed why the coaches believe he is a special talent with a 60 yard run for a score with even another run equally as long being called back and also had a interception when the Spartans were threatening to score. Carlos Espinoza was strong with all his kicks going deep putting the home team at a disadvantage starting on offense and even had interception on defense. Chris Wilson was a steady force on offense with big long runs when his number was called, he also had a half dozen tackles on the defensive side of the ball with a strip also. Marshawn Hilliard since being given the keys to the offense again ( starting QB) showed why the coaches made the move. The team played stellar , stingy, dominating football. A well deserved win for ” Dem Boyz from Da Hill” Congratulations Cowboys.
