The Bruins entered the game down four starters including their starting quarterback. Daizhantae “Dooka” King stepped in at quarterback and didn’t miss a beat. His leadership and experience came up huge for the Bruins as he ran the offense with precision all game including a beautiful touchdown pass to Yemoni Howell. Ikuna Mu’Asika added two touchdowns – a 40 yard scamper and an impressive 60 yard run, and Earl Richardson had perhaps the play of the day with a beautiful 65 yard touchdown where he reversed field with lightning speed and beat everyone to the end zone. The defense was lights out across the board, with solid play by linebackers Kyle Rasmussen and Jaden Rosete, and a key interception by cornerback Isaiah Gonzales.
