NW Premier Junior Football 10U Playoff Scores And Highlights 10-30-19

Beacon Hill Cowboys 25
5 Star Cougars 0
The third matchup of the day, the 10U game, was between the Beacon Hill Cowboys and the 5 Star Cougars. This game was all Cowboys, with some solid defense against the smaller Cougars. The offense of the Cowboys was able to rush at will and ended up with 3 rushing touchdowns. After a double pass for a touchdown, the Cowboys were up 25 – 0.

Rainier Ravens 27
Seatac Sharks 0
The Ravens looked to be in a dogfight with the Sharks early in the game, as both teams took turn holding the opposing teams’ offense in check. But the Ravens got two defensive scores late in the second quarter as they took a 13-0 lead into the half.

The first score came courtesy of J’Shaun Wilson who stripped the ball from a Seatac player and returned the ball 22 yards for a touchdown. The next score came as the Ravens’ Jaylinn Haywood sacked Seatac’s quarterback forcing a fumble that was picked up and ran in for a touchdown by Michael Wayman.

In the third quarter, Wilson broke loose on a 46 yard touchdown run, and James Siva recorded a PAT as the Ravens took a commanding 20-0 lead. No to be outdone, the Ravens’ Gantrell Mathews scored on a 39-yard touchdown run, and this time Wilson added the extra-point as the Ravens walked away with a 27-0 victory to advance the second round of the playoffs.

The Panthers drew a line in the sand and didn’t give Auburn much breathing room.
