NW Premier Junior Football 12U/14U Playoff Scores And Highlights 10-30-19

12U
Seatac Sharks 6
Rainer Ravens 0
Our 12U matchup, the 4th game of the day, featured the Rainer Ravens battling against the SeaTac Sharks. This game was gritty, smash mouth, and sloppy all at once. Neither team seemed to have much momentum, until Joe Hefa broke free on a 40 yard touchdown run for the only score of the game.

Benson Bruins 45
5 Star Cougars 0
Luther Tucker had three touchdowns in the first quarter including a kick return and a pick six. Benson’s shutdown defense led by JB Burroughs and JoJo Matautia putt the Bruins in the position for advancement. The Cougars, a talented team, fought vigilantly and with attitude but let this opportunity slip through their fingers, but their effort must commended.

Puget Sound Lancers 44
Auburn Panthers 6
The 5th seeded Puget Sound Lancers put together a near-perfect first half as they went into halftime leading the #4 seed Auburn Panthers 32-6.

The Lancers’ Adam Estrada got things rolling early as he scored on a 35-yard run up the middle and then the Lancers recovered the ensuing kickoff at the Auburn 35 yard line. The recovery set-up a 30 yard touchdown pass from Lancers’ quarterback Jakai Clardy to Jalyden Meadows to give Puget Sound an early 14-0 lead.

Auburn appeared to climb back in the game as Leo Mata intercepted a pass in the endzone for a touchdown to bring the score to 14-6.

However, the Lancers rattled off 18 unanswered points in the final two minutes of the half. Joey Marchall scored on a 78 yard run with 1:20 left. The Lancers recovered the ensuing kickoff to set up a 35-yard touchdown pass from Clardy to Estrada. Then Estrada recovered the ensuing kickoff and returned it 18 yards for a touchdown with 6 second left in the half.

Estrada scored on a 27-yard touchdown run with 6:22 left in the third quarter to give the Lancers a commanding 38-6 lead.

After the Panthers turned the ball over on downs, Estrada scored again on a 92-yard touchdown run with 2:00 minutes left in the game to give the Lancers a 44-6 win over the Panthers.

CD Panthers 38
253 Spartans 0
The Panthers finished out the day with a big win over the Spartans, and securing a day full of shutout wins for the Panthers franchise in the playoffs.

14U
CD Panthers 39
Infamous All Stars 0
The final game of the day, the 14U matchup, was an absolute offensive clinic. The matchup between the Panthers and the All Stars showed who was truly the more dominant team. The Panthers came to play on both sides of the ball, scoring six touchdowns in total. Jimmy Miller had some of the longest rushes of the day for scores, one going for 40 yards the other one going for 50. The defense also had a fumble recovery and a interception returned for a touchdown to seal it.

Auburn Panthers
Richmond Bulldogs
Richmond advances to the second round of the playoffs due to a forfeit by Auburn.
