NW Premier Junior Football 12U/14U Scores And Highlights 10-2-19

12U
Benson Bruins 20,
Seatac Sharks 0
In a rematch of the 2018 12U Championship game, the last two undefeated 12U teams came ready for a battle. Experiencing their toughest defense this season, Bruins quarterback Devon Forehand strategically utilized JoJo Matautia, Damari King, JB Burroughs and Luther Tucker to dismantle the Sharks defense, although the Sharks played with grit and determination. The Bruin’s offense refused to be denied and battled hard for the Bruins three touchdowns. The Sharks on both offense and defense showed up and played tough, but this week it was not meant to be. Still a lot of football left in the season and surely the Sharks will bounce back and come ready to compete next week.

Auburn Panthers 33
Beacon Hill Cowboys 0
The Auburn Panthers had a slow start against a determined Cowboys defense in the beginning with no score at the end of the first quarter. Auburn ran a balanced offense with the run and pass game. Quarterback Baylen Erdmann threw the ball well, completing passes to his favorite targets of the day, Antonio Rocha and Christian Titialii. The running game was even more effective with the hard running of Rayvon Neal, A’ron Jack, and Chris Vaomu. Both Neal and Vaomu had a pair of touchdowns on the day. Quarterback Erdmann even got into the mix with a quick quarterback sneak. Defense for the Panthers was the name of the game. The front five consisting of Antonio Rocha, Demetri Manning, Jayson Jack, and Bella Titialii along with a constant rotation of defensive players kept the Beacon Hill Cowboy’s offense out of the end zone all day. Several other contributors such as Logan O’Neal who stopped everything coming his way, whether it was a run or pass, from his cornerback position. Big defensive plays also made by A’ron Jack with an interception and a big hit made by Jordan Stubblefield causing a fumble in the 4th quarter, which the Panthers recovered and converted

Coming off injuries and short on key players that are still healing, the Auburn Panthers put in work. Gio, Joey and Matthew took some monster hits and still managed to score at the end! Auburn would like to send love and prayers to Anthony “ThizzleWizzle” Thysell who was taken down and had to be carted off in style by our friends at Valley Regional Fire Department. The team and the referees came together to say a prayer for quick healing and safety of the player at the end of the game. The CD Panthers ran their playbook to perfection as both offense and defense were stellar in this win. The run game was on point as well as the defense who were working for a shutout, and would have succeeded if it weren’t for the competitiveness of Auburn.
