The 12U Bruins posted their second straight shut out defeating the Auburn Panthers 42-0. Benson showed off their impressive depth, with six different players scoring touchdowns in their victory. JoJo Matautia, JB Burroughs, Luther Tucker, Cassius Culpepper, Damari King and Devon Forehand all scored for the Bruins.
Puget Sound Lancers 42
BGC Seahawks 12
The Lancers were on fire this week Joey Marshall scored three times including a 49 yard touchdown and a 53 yarder. Adam Estrada scored twice from 50 yards and 48 yards. Jay Johnson scored on a 15 yard pass and Joseph Leapai scored twice on both a 2 and a 4 yard scampers. The defense contributed as well as Dealaia Curenton got a sack to stop the BGC Seahawks from seeing the end zone along with two tackles and a fumble recovery. Jaiyden Meadows had multiple tackles with a recovery on a kickoff return. Adam Estrada was great on defense with a few tackles and Dylan Murray-Walker was called out by teammates Storm for great blocks. The BGC Seahawks played with their hearts and competed till the end. Mason Filitaula threw a 16 yard pass to Sir Naomas Failautusi for the score and Davontae Redding added a one yard run to keep the Seahawks competitive.

The Spartans come into this contest prepared to win and win they did. The Cowboys although outmanned came to compete as well as you could see the effort from each team. Darryl “DJ” Saulsbury of the Cowboys had an MVP type game running for almost 300 yards and had three touchdowns which were all called back. Trayvius Coe played like a soldier whole game, Eddie Williams, Nehemiah Washington and Adair Bautista held down the defense for the Cowboys but the Spartans were just a better team, this weekend.
