Beacon Hill Cowboys 39
Auburn Panthers 7
The Cowboys went to work early and often in this game. They had two fumble recoveries on the first two kickoffs of the game by Leon Wilkinson that led to a 13 -0 start. Then the defense went to work, led by LeBron Adams who had numerous tackles and Zavier “X-man” Traxler who had an interception and return for a touchdown. The defense played like a pack of hyenas hungry for the ball. The offense ran like a well-oiled machine, scoring on all possessions. Sir Jewel Glover scored on a 50-yard run and 75-yard pass play from Lamar Darden, Jr.. Esquire Williams had runs of five yards and 65 yards, Lamar Darden, Jr. had a 6-yard quarterback sneak for a score. Also scoring extra points were Jorden Mack and Nehemiah Wilturner, as well as Sir Jewel Glover. This was a complete team effort for the Cowboys this weekend, where every player could be mentioned in doing something great. It was a hard fought battle for the Panthers as both the offense and defense did their best to stay competitive in this contest, but the Cowboys were too much this week. Hats off to the Panthers but the season is not over. There are still more games to win.
Benson Bruins 39
Seatac Sharks 0
Quarterback Micah Meneese had another monster game leading the undefeated Bruins to their fourth straight shutout. Meneese had five touchdowns in the first half – two quarterback keepers and three on beautiful passes to KJ Hightower (two) and Ray Clark III. Liufau Loumoli and KJ Hightower set the tone defensively and helped Benson achieve this win. The Bruins are 5-0 for the season. No team comes into a contest with a loss on their minds and the Seatac Sharks are no different. The Sharks fought valiantly and competitively but this week came up short.
