NW Premier Junior Football League 10U Scores & Highlights 9-21-22

9U Benson Bruins 24, CD Panthers 0

Benson’s CJ Ireland had two rushing touchdowns and two interceptions that he took back to the house for the Bruins MVP of the Game. Trent Vagaia, Chase Dance, Mesake Ve’e, AJ Aguirre led the defense in a physical game against the CD Panthers

10U Benson Bruins 48, 253 Spartans 0

Benson’s nationally ranked 10U scored 48 points before the game was called at the end of the second quarter. Seven players scored for Benson: CJ Vala, Kaiden Peterson-Leonardo, Aiden Brown, Tatum Wilson, Cliff Love, DeShaun Brown Jr., Sean Novillo and Makoa Titialii.

10U Jr Huskies 34, Puyallup 0

Two teams from different leagues battled it out in a Northwest Premier and Greater Youth Puget Sound Football League crossover matchup. The Puyallup Roughriders came out looking to score but the swarming defense of the Jr Huskies kept them from scoring the entire game, as Ka’Lan Simonton had a standout defensive game. Raevion Rogers from the Jr Huskies had two long punt returns for touchdowns, and Leonidas Vaofusi ran for a 28-yard touchdown, Darrell Murphy caught a touchdown pass from Aizaak Eneliko.

10U Jr Huskies 38, 5 Star 0

The Jr Huskies were looking to keep the momentum headed into their second of two games of their double header weekend and did just that. Defensively they kept 5 Star cougars from scoring the entire game, standouts Ka’Lan Simonton and Leonidas Vaofusi with big plays for the huskies on defense, 5 Star cougars defensive standout Jamir “Munchie’ Burdine made some great plays also. Leonidas Vaofusi ran a 43-yard touchdown, Raevion Rogers Ran for two big scoring touchdowns, Prince Phillips-Colman ran for an electrifying 45 yard touchdown run making it his very first on the season, Darrell Murphy scored on a long touchdown pass from Aziaak Eneliko. Head coach Ray Rogers had this to say after the game, “We took the energy from the week into the weekend and both days showed just that, we’re aren’t looking past anybody, developing each kid day by day.”

Renton Rangers 26, 253 Heir 6

The Rangers earned their first victory of the season with a 20-point win over Heir.

Heir 9U 18, 253 Heir 13

This game was action packed and had the crowd standing on their feet. HEIR 9U jumped out to a 12-0 lead with big touchdowns from Jaden Oloapu run and a kickoff return from X factor Roman Sumlin. 10U Heir 253 didn’t go out without a fight, they rattled off two big touchdowns giving 10U Heir 253 a 13-12 lead with only minutes remaining. 9U HEIR drove down the field 60 yards to seal the deal. Final score 18-13.
