The Bearcats maintained a three-way tie for second place with a commanding shutout victory over 5 Star.

Grid Iron 36, Renton Rangers 6

The game proved to be a tough challenge for the Rangers as they faced one of the league’s top teams. However, the Rangers displayed tremendous effort and determination throughout the match. The game took a difficult turn for the Rangers when Demetrios Gordon, Jr. suffered an injury in the second quarter. At that point, with the score at 12-0, Gordon’s departure occurred just as the Rangers were threatening to score with a 1st and goal. Prior to the injury, Gordon had contributed with several impressive runs to keep his team in the game.

Renton quarterback Noah Geyen managed to score the Rangers’ lone touchdown of the game with a remarkable 47-yard run, narrowing Gridiron’s lead to 28-6. Gridiron added one more touchdown to finalize the score at 36-6.

Benson Bruins 52, HEIR 11U 0

Benson secured a dominant 52-0 victory over Heir. Kaiden Leonardo-Peterson led the charge with two interception returns for touchdowns, a fumble recovery for a touchdown, and an offensive touchdown.

HEIR 12U 53, CD Panthers 0

Andrew PeaPea had one fumble return for a touchdown to go along with tw0 touchdown receptions, while teammate Dash Jones caught a touchdown and recorded two interceptions to help lead HEIR to a big victory over the Panthers.

Derrick Deloney, Jr. had two rushing touchdowns, Cordae Norling threw three touchdown passes, and Alden Camba had an interception return for a touchdown as HEIR improved to 7-0 on the season.

HEIR’s Brody Robertson had two successful onside kicks, and went 4/4 on 2-point kicks on the day.
