        The CD Panthers explosive offense helped secure a comfortable first half lead which put the game in their favor. The Panthers’ Mykhai Phillips, Ja’Ray Brim, Rashawn Tymony, J’Andre Castillo, Cayne Rodriquez, and Lonzel Hall all contributed to CD’s 57 points. The defense led by Aedyn Havilli, Malik Field, Jai’Von Frost, and Tae’Pion Epting allowed just one 5 Star touchdown on the day.

        This was a highly anticipated game that did not disappoint. HEIR jumped out to a 24-14 lead despite missing key starters in the game due to injury. HEIR’s Tayven Collins got things rolling with a kickoff return touchdown and an electrifying receiving touchdown. Daeshean Toomer had a 63-yard interception return for a touchdown, while teammate Rwaleed added another touchdown to the board as well.

        Gridiron climbed back into the game and with only seconds remaining threw up a desperation pass; However, it was intercepted by Collins to seal the game. With the win, HEIR remains undefeated and now set their sights on a matchup with 5 Star.
