Katherine Gulley was born August 24, 1938 in St. Louis, Missouri to Frank and Beatrice Richardson.  After spending her early childhood in St. Louis, Katherine and her parents relocated to Seattle, Washington. Katherine was baptized at the age of 9 and she became a long time member of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church.

Katherine grew up in the Central District of Seattle and attended Leschi Elementary School, Washington Jr. Middle School and Garfield High School.  Katherine was a proud member of the class of 1958. She met Wilson Gulley, Sr. at Garfield who was her High School sweetheart.

On October 18, 1958, Katherine married Wilson Gulley, Sr. to that union was born one daughter, Debra Gulley-Collins and three sons, Wilson Jr., Bruce Edward and Keith Ramone Gulley.

On May 25, 2015, Katherine passed into the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She leaves behind eight grandchildren and three Great-grandchildren.  She adored all of her grandchildren and they loved their “Granny”.

The family will celebrate the life of their amazing Mother through a memorial service on Saturday, June 20th 12:00 pm at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Seattle.
