‘Go To The Plantation And Pick Cotton’: Black Americans React After Being Targeted In Anonymous Messages

Across the country, the day after the presidential election, Black people of all ages – including children — were anonymously sent racist text messages that referenced President-elect Donald Trump.

A Trump spokesperson said the campaign had “absolutely nothing to do with these text messages,” and authorities are now investigating who is behind them.
