Rise Academy 32, 10U CD Panthers 19
The CD Panthers put forth a team effort but came up short against Rise Academy. Rise Academy came out firing on all cylinders, aggressively scoring throughout the game. The CD Panthers fought hard in wet conditions on Saturday afternoon as Jeffrey Cook threw two touchdown passes to Cortez Foster and rushed for another, leading a 19-0 fourth-quarter run by the Panthers. However, despite their efforts, the Panthers ultimately came up short and suffered a season-opening loss.

The 10U Benson Bruins delivered a commanding performance in their first game, defeating 10U HEIR with a decisive 38-0 victory. Despite a slow start, the Bruins’ offense found its rhythm and finished strong. BJ Uluiva opened the scoring with a 2-yard rushing touchdown, followed by a 40-yard run to the end zone by Savion Brown. Jayden Mendoza connected with Peyton Taito for a 10-yard touchdown pass, with Ryan C successfully kicking the extra point. Mendoza also threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to Reggie Brown, and Miles Dequier capped off the scoring with a 15-yard rushing touchdown. The Bruins’ defense made plays all over the field and prevented HEIR from scoring any points.
