Seattle King County NAACP Announces Upcoming Elections

The Seattle King County NAACP recently announced that the branch will host a meeting on Mon., Dec. 8 to elect officers and at-large members of the Executive Committee.

At the meeting, to take place at the Seattle King County NAACP Office located at 715 23rd Ave S., in Seattle, the branch will elect officers and at-large members of the executive committee for the upcoming year. The polls will be open from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. In order to vote in a branch election, one must be a member in good standing of the branch 30 days prior to the election. A form of identification is required to participate in the elections.

The Seattle King County NAACP encourages all NAACP members to attend this meeting and help share the information with others in the community. These elections will help set the course for the future of the NAACP’s work and it is imperative that they are representative of the entire community.
