“It gives us energy, day to day. Citizens take pride in Super Bowl wins when you are traveling to various locations. Ultimately, a win generates high self-esteem, and being from Seattle, it helps the camaraderie with your neighbors. This win is a unifying effect.”

“It means everything. Seattle is always counted out. For the Hawks to bring home the Lombardi Trophy again, especially during a season where there has been so much doubt and people against Seattle, this win feels even better! The negativity only fueled the team and the community’s fire, and I am so happy to be a 12.”

“The Hawks beat all their rivals this year and brought the trophy back to Seattle again. Wow, it is just a great feeling and such a cool thing to experience. But overall, Seattle sports have had a great year this year, and this Super Bowl win just solidified that we are top contenders. I love to see athletes prove those against them wrong, and I feel that the Seahawks did exactly that.”

“I think it’s redemption from the Super Bowl that we kind of lost on the one-yard line. It makes people feel better about supporting our team. Also, just as we’ve all been through a lot—COVID and economic stuff—I think it lifts people’s spirits up by being part of something and the camaraderie around that. So, it brings people together. And then also, from a sports perspective, it might help us feel good about Seattle sports. Can we get our Sonics back now? Like, we have everything else. We need our Sonics back. So, I think it’ll bring everybody together and hopefully bring our Sonics back home.”

“It uplifts our community and validates the city. People are not going to be second-guessing our worth or talent and what we actually deserve. I am part of the community, and I am very happy. We will have some fun, and we have that validation. It is just a reward for the hard work that all of us do, the community and the work that the team has done. And now, the nation has seen how great Seattle is.”

“I think that Seattle winning a Super Bowl solidifies us as real competitors in this league. I’ve heard many times that our first win was just a fluke, and we weren’t being taken seriously. And I think us going back to the Super Bowl for the fourth time, and then actually winning the Super Bowl, definitely solidifies us as real competitors in this league. For the city, it brings us bragging rights, and it will probably stimulate us a little bit in terms of our economy. People are going to be taking a closer look at Seattle, and it definitely kind of put us on the map.”
