Craig Robinson (from The Office and Hot Tub Time Machine) plays a single father who moves to Germany with his 13-year-old son, Morris (played by Markees Christmas). With aspirations to be the next Notorious B.I.G., Morris navigates his new environment as the “black American kid” confronted with cultural barriers, bullying and racial slurs. Morris From America is a fun coming-of-age story highlighting a close father-son relationship in an unfamiliar place set to a hip hop beat.

Morris From America will be showing at the following times and locations during the Seattle International Film Festival:

Wednesday, June 1, 7:00 PM                      SIFF Cinema Egyptian
