The Rho Lambda Zeta Chapter Of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Announces Their Fall 2023 Intake Class

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, a renowned historically African-American sorority with a rich tradition of promoting community service, scholarship, sisterhood, and finer womanhood, is proud to announce the induction of the Fall 2023 Intake class of the Rho Lambda Zeta chapter located in Washington State.

Rho Lambda Zeta chapter, which was chartered in the state of Washington on September 22, 1999, continues to strengthen the bonds of sisterhood and service within King County. The addition of these accomplished women not only enhances the chapter’s vibrancy but also strengthens its commitment to being a community-conscious, action-oriented organization.

The new members of the Fall 2023 Intake class of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, incorporated, Rho Lambda Zeta chapter, also known as 7 PEARLS of WiZdom, are LaNiqua Bell, Ariel Davis, Lakisha Devine, Startraya Galloway, Zynovia Hetherington, Corasia Smith, and Viktorea White.

LaNiqua Bell: Bell is the community engagement manager at the Museum of Flight and serves as a Health Equity Board Member at Kaiser Permanente. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Eastern Washington University.

Ariel Davis: Davis is the education & youth development supervisor at the Seattle Housing Authority and also sits on the Board of the S.E. Seattle Education Coalition. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science & Economics from the University of Washington Tacoma, a Master of Public Administration from Seattle University, and a Certificate in Leadership, Organizing, and Action from the Harvard Kennedy School.

Lakisha Devine: Devine works as an inflight crew scheduler with 25 years of service at Alaska Airlines. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Washington Seattle.

Startraya Galloway: Galloway serves as a senior human resource officer in the U.S. Army. She possesses a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Pfeiffer University and a Master of Arts in Legal Studies from American Military University.

Zynovia Hetherington: Hetherington is a professor specializing in child welfare and ADEI at the University of Washington School of Social Work. She holds a Master of Social Work and a Master of Education from the University of Washington Seattle.

Corasia Smith: Smith is a social worker and mental health clinician at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital in Tacoma. She has achieved a Social Work Associate Independent Clinical license and holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Washington Tacoma and a Master of Social Work from the University of Washington Seattle.

Viktorea White: White serves as a project coordinator at Furtado & Associates and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from University of Washington Seattle.

According to the leadership of the Rho Lambda Zeta chapter, these women embody the values and ideals of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, and they are excited to see the positive impact they will make on our communities. Their commitment to service, scholarship, sisterhood, and finer womanhood is an inspiration to us all.
