People Speak: Is President Trump Doing Better Or Worse Than You Expected?

Aliea Talyor…

“I think Donald trump has done exactly what I thought he was going to do. I didn’t think he was going to make any better policies regarding financial issues that we have in America for the past I don’t know 70 years plus.  I haven’t seen any changes within school programs, I haven’t seen any changes within the laws, um that would better the lives of African American or any people of color anyone different from blonde hair, blue eyes and white skin, to be completely honest.  It’s unfortunate and especially being a clinic manager I haven’t seen any positive changes on his behalf towards the healthcare system. So I feel like it’s up to us, it’s not up to them or politicians, it’s up to the people here on the ground to make a difference.”

Amber McDowell-Reese…

“As far as Trump goes I didn’t have any expectations, if I did I definitely would have been disappointed, but I didn’t expect any good from him and he has definitely upheld that kinda of thought process.”

James Fayson…

“The question that was asked of me, “do I think that Donald Trump is doing better or worse”? Well right now, the White House right now is a mad conception it’s like all over the place right now. If we look at dysfunctional families I would start right there, ok. You cannot lead, your president can’t lead a family without the ability to lead his family, that’s all I have to say about that.”

“I believe that Donald Trump has actually provided us with what he said he was going to do and that was to change America and he has changed it in such a negative way and it’s scary and Im afraid for my children.”

Kristi Blair-Pearson…

“I think that Donald Trump has fared worse because he wants to set us back, not forty years, not fifty years, but one hundred years. We are a people of royalty and we deserve to be treated like royalty, but he wants to keep that foot on our throats and try to keep us in our place, But we don’t have place even though we are the original man.”

Zeola Beasley…

“Trump got in there and did exactly what he wanted to do, confuse the people and make things more difficult for the office and now he’s taken over everyone there too.”

Takeaways From The Supreme Court’s Decisions Expanding Trump’s Firing Power But...

The Supreme Court has ruled that the President may remove leaders of independent federal agencies without cause, overturning a 1935 precedent and significantly expanding executive power. However, the Court blocked the Trump administration's immediate attempt to remove Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook, emphasizing the requirement for due process amid contested mortgage fraud allegations. In a separate decision, the justices upheld state laws allowing the counting of mail-in ballots received after Election Day, a ruling that counters former President Trump's stance on voting restrictions.
