West Seattle’s Bo Gionet completed 11 of 23 passes for 146 yards and one touchdown, and carried the ball 12 times for 56 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Wildcats to a 14-7 win over Ingraham. Defensively, West Seattle was led by Daniel Waters, who finished the game with 12 tackles, while teammate Jackson Boyer recovered two fumbles.

Nathan Hale was able to keep things close behind the efforts of Rayvon Pickering, who ran for a 50-yard touchdown run with one minute left in the first quarter and an 85-yard kickoff return for a touchdown to begin the second half. Unfortunately, Chief Sealth scored 20 unanswered second-half points to walk away with a 32-12 victory.

Trailing 6-3, Lakeside’s Matthew Zhou scored on a 2-yard touchdown run to give the Lions their first win of the season. Franklin’s Bubba Banks had 51 all-purpose yards, one interception, six tackles, and a touchdown in a losing effort for the Quakers. Defensively, the Quakers were led by Mohamed Madey, who finished the game with 10 tackles, and Emmett Ramambason-Hendren, who had 8 tackles.

Eastside Catholic quarterback Jake Tiryakioglu threw for over 300 yards, including touchdown passes to Tyson Weaver of 87 and 20 yards, respectively, to lead the Crusaders.
