Seattle Prep advanced in the Metro League district qualifier tournament with a 79-59 victory over Bishop Blanchet.
Seattle Prep’s Tyler Mrus and Kyle Carlesimo both chipped in 16 points, while teammate Braeden Smith scored 14 to lead the Panthers.
Seattle Prep will now face the winner of the Nathan Hale – Roosevelt game for Metro’s 7th and 8th seeds for the SeaKing District tournament this Thursday at Ingraham High School. Blanchet will face the loser of the Nathan Hale Roosevelt game in a loser out game.
