The brothers of Zeta Pi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. proudly announce the availability of the first Northwest Scholarship Resource Guide for African American and other students. The guide provides streamlined key information on specific local, regional, and national scholarship opportunities for college-bound students. According to principal editor James B. Smith, Ph.D., the Guide includes information on scholarship opportunities from Blacks in Government, The Urban League, The LINKS, Microsoft, and the Mount Baker Community Club (Martin Luther King Jr. Fund). The guide also includes application information for young men who are interested in the Zeta Pi Lambda C P Johnson and Herbert L. Starke scholarship awards. Because many of the deadlines for the fall terms are imminent, Zeta Pi Lambda Chapter President Albert A. Thomas and Education Director LeRoy McCullough recommend that college aspirants move quickly to request the free Guide.
