In Loving Memory Of Beverly St. Claire Hayes

Beverly St. Claire Hayes was born in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1932 to the union of James (Jimmy) Stewart Sr., and Naomi Stewart. Preceded in death her only brother James (Jimmy) Stewart Jr. During WWII (1942), her family moved to Port Orchard, WA, then relocated to Bremerton where Hayes graduated from Bremerton High School.

She met and became the beautiful wife of Delo Hayes II in 1952. To this union were born seven children. Twins Erwin & Edwin, Delo III, Kimberly, Deborah, Darrell and Ronald Sr. Preceded in death children Edwin (twin), Darryl and niece Ashley Nesmith.

She was peacefully called home surrounded by loved ones on July 8, 2024, at the age of 92. Hayes was known for her quick wit and charismatic personality. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing cards, pool, dancing and spending time with family and friends. 

To cherish her memories Hayes leaves her five surviving children and 11 grandchildren: Shareece, Adaviette, Ronald Jr, Sequoia, and Shavon Hayes. LaRon Hudson, Maymarie Culton, Tasha Chinelo, Shauntemarie Gagner, DeRae Bower, DeAndre. Sister in-law Kaleemah Khan. 17 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Her life was celebrated by family and close friends on July 27, 2024.
