The community is invited to join Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Baptist Church as they examine Justice King’s way. What does it mean to pursue Justice King’s way? God way? We will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters. A Church and community that has lost its voice for justice is a Church that has lost its relevance in the world. (Martin Luther King, Jr) .
Dr. Carl Mack, the former president of the Seattle King County Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), will be the guest speaker as we examine justice King’s way and reset our agenda as a church and community in moving forward toward justice as God’s require.
The focus of the event is to amplify, elevate and stand in solidarity and be a voice with and for those who are suffering injustices, structural racism, and inequities advancing the call justice for all.
The program will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at 3:00pm, Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Baptist Church, 4519 NE. 10th St., Renton WA 98059. Dr. Linda M. Smith, Pastor
