Phyllis Ann Reynolds (Young) was born July 23, 1942 in Fort Scott, Kansas to Phillip and Alice Young. She moved with her family to Chinook, Montana, and then to Seattle where she attended Ebenezer A.M.E Zion Church. She eventually married and raised a family.
