Celebrating The Life Of Jessie Lee Sherrod

Jessie Lee Sherrod will greatly be missed by his family is Mississippi, Chicago and Seattle, Washington. He was one of 13 children. Sherrod moved to Seattle after marrying Elizabeth Hooks-Hunter, and his new family included children Katrina Jones, Trent Jones (Connie), Ira Jones (Heather), and Pam Jones-Murphy (Mark).

Sherrod was a party person. He was a member of the Holly Park reunion group, which Katrina Jones is the Founder and Fundraiser of “Unity in the Community,” which is held yearly at John C. Little Park in Seattle, Wa. Sherrod was also a part of Major League Barber Shop in Renton, WA.

Sherrod was preceded in death by Jan Jones-Davis.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Hooks-Hunter and children.
