If you have a daughter, granddaughter or niece and want to engage their imaginations, support them in their social-emotional development and be exposed to women in science, business, law, engineering, medicine and education- then, Seattle Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (SAC) has just the program for your special young girl.
The Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy is for girls 11-13 years old. The Shabazz Delta Academy uses science, math, and technology to engage the girls in interactive activities embedded with Common Core science, math, and technology standards. During this time of the COVID pandemic, SAC committee members also attend to their social-emotional needs.
Applications are due November 30, 2021.
