Dr. Kimberly A. Bell is the Associate Vice President of the Franciscan Inpatient Team. CHI Franciscan Hospital Medicine is the South Sound’s leader in Hospitalist’s services providing care for patients located at St. Joseph’s Medical Center, St. Clare hospital, St. Francis hospital, St Anthony hospital, and St. Elizabeth hospital.

Dr. Bell started her career in Seattle at Swedish Hospital. She was the first female Chief of Staff for Providence Medical Center. She started the first hospitalist’s program at Centennial Medical Center.  She has been a practicing physician for over 20 years.

An active member of the Society of Hospital Medicine, she was instrumental in the development of two chapters in Seattle and Nashville.

Dr. Bell received her B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Washington; and received her Medical Degree from The University of Wisconsin School of Public Health.  She is a Senior Fellow in Hospital Medicine and a Fellow in the American College of Physicians. She is an active participant in her community and the mother of three daughters.
