DROP-IN HELP FOR JOB SEEKERS AT THE SEATTLE PUBLIC LIBRARY IN MARCH

 The Seattle Public Library will offer drop-in, individualized help for job seekers at two Library locations in March.

Library events are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required. Free parking is available at both Library locations.

Rainier Beach Branch

Employment specialists from TRAC Associates will offer free, one-on-one help with developing a job search plan. Help topics may include: résumé, cover letter, online job search, applying for jobs and interviewing techniques.

  • 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursdays, March 10 and March 24 at the Rainier Beach Branch, 9125 Rainier Ave. S., 206-386-1906.

 Ballard Branch

The Library has partnered with WorkSource Seattle-King County and the Ballard Food Bank to connect job seekers with job resources based on each person’s needs. One-on-one sessions are available.

  • 10 a.m. to noon Fridays, March 11 and March 25 at the Ballard Branch, 5614 22nd Ave. N.W., 206-684-4089.
