Enrollment Still Available For Seattle Public Schools

Enrollment in Seattle Public Schools is still available for the 2020-21 school year.

Enrollment is open to:

• New Seattle residents;

• Children who have turned five-years-old by Aug. 31, 2020, for kindergarten enrollment.

Enrollment can be completed online, by phone or in-person.

For online enrollment, visit the SPS website at www.seattleschools.org/admissions.

For phone enrollment, please call the number matching language preference: Amharic/Oromo: 206-445-3848; Chinese: 206-475-1860; English: 205-252-0760; Somali: 206-471-2414; Spanish: 206-471-2414; and Vietnamese: 206-427-9386.

For in-person enrollment, please note:

• Location – John Stanford Center for Educational Excellence (JSCEE) 2445 3rd Ave. S. Seattle, WA 98134

• Dates for in-person enrollment – Sept. 8-11

• Times for in-person enrollment – 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. (closed noon-1 p.m.)

• No appointment necessary

• Limited in-person support available

• Parents/guardians must provide: photo identification or passport, two pieces of address verification, student’s certificate of immunization, and birth certificate or passport for students entering kindergarten or first grade

Covid-19 Safety Information — John Stanford Center for Educational Excellence (JSCEE)

• To protect your family and our staff, please do not come to the JSCEE if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms: fever or chills; cough or shortness of breath/difficulty breathing; muscle or body aches; vomiting or diarrhea; new loss of taste or smell.

• Only two families at a time will be allowed to enter the JSCEE lobby.

• Only two people per household should plan to come to enroll.

• To allow for social distancing, only five families at a time can form a line. Please remain in your car until called into line. • Face coverings that cover the nose and mouth must be worn at all times.

• SPS staff will be wearing masks and will sanitize their stations between each visitor.
