Franklin’s Shaunice Reed scored 32 points, including 5 of 10 shooting from three-point range, and had 5 steals as the Lady Quakers defeated Seattle Prep 46-41 in the Metro League Tournament. With the win, Franklin advances to the SeaKing District playoffs as the Metro League’s #3 seed, while Seattle Prep advances as the #4 seed.
Franklin will play the winner of the Juanita-Bainbridge game next Tuesday at Ingraham. Seattle Prep will play Lakeside in a loser out game this Saturday.
