Free Music Classes For Small Children At The High Point Library

Learn how music helps children grow! Babies, toddlers and preschoolers can dance the day away at The Seattle Public Library’s series of music and dance classes presented by the award-winning Seattle Baby Jam company from 11:30 a.m. to noon Saturdays, Sept. 9, 16 and 23 at the High Point Branch, 3411 S.W. Raymond St., 206-684-7454.

In this three-part class series, parents and caregivers will make music and dance with their children. There will be hands-on drumming, percussion, multilingual songs, stories and games. The classes are intended to help young children develop brain-based skills, such as language and music abilities.

Classes are open to children ages birth to 5 years and their families. Families are encouraged to attend all three weeks.

For more information, call the High Point Branch at 206-684-7454. Library events and programs are free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged. Free parking is available in the branch parking lot.
