SIFF Movie Preview: The Garden We Dreamed

A Haitian family traveling through Mexico in search of a better life becomes caught up in an illegal logging operation deep in the forest. Living in a small cabin surrounded by nature, they begin to hope they have finally found safety and stability. But as the forest is destroyed and violence grows around them, their dream of a new home is put at risk. The Garden We Dreamed is a powerful story about survival, family, and the search for belonging.
