Trailing 48-32 at the end of the third quarter, O’Dea looked to make a run in the fourth but with six minutes left in the game the Bulldogs went on a 14-3 run to put the game out of reach.
Garfield’s Tari Eason scored a game-high 21 points, including 3 three-pointers, and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs. The Bulldog’s Koren Johnson added 16 points, while Jaylin Stewart chipped in 11 points, and Kendall Munson finished the game with 10 points to help lead Garfield to victory. Paolo Banchero had 16 points and 9 rebounds to lead O’Dea.
The Bulldogs shot 50 percent from the field for the game, while holding O’Dea to just 36 percent shooting from the field for the night.
On the other side of the court, The Lady Bulldogs defeated Lake Washington 55-41 behind the 18 points on Dalayah Daniels.
