Kraken Community Iceplex in Northgate host several Girls’ and Women’s hockey events this weekend, October 9-10. Throughout the weekend there will be opportunities for everyone, regardless of hockey experience, to come to KCI and experience hockey.

The first event will be a clinic for girls who have previous hockey experience. This will be followed by a panel comprised of women who have a strong hockey ties. Here, the audience will be able to interact with the panel, asking any questions they may have and learning more about how hockey has impacted and continues to influence the panelists’ lives. This experience is a great for anyone who does not feel comfortable on the ice, but still wants to learn more about hockey! This event does not require registration and is open to anyone.

Saturday will conclude with a chance to meet and learn from Olympic Gold Medalist and current Seattle Kraken Scout, Cammi Granato. Cammi will be leading a coaching and leadership forum for anyone who wants to learn more about leadership through coaching. The final event is for anyone who has ever wanted to try hockey; Try Hockey for Free (girls only).
