Obituary: Gloria Scott-Shepherd

Our beloved Gloria Scott-Shepherd, a cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025.

Gloria’s kindness, strength & humor touched all who met her, as she lived a life filled with faith, family & joy. A true fashionista, elegant hats & jewelry were part of her signature look, which she wore with great pride, making everyone smile & take notice.

Gloria enjoyed simple pleasures, from playing bingo, dominoes & monopoly with family & friends to participating in church functions.  A faithful member of Southside Church of Christ, she passionately presided over the annual Grandparents Day Program for years while participating faithfully in the Senior’s Ministry. Gloria strived to live & display her faith daily through service, fellowship & love.

Gloria is survived by her sons, TC Armon & Major Moriels, two grandsons, granddaughter & three great-grandchildren.
