The Panthers’ Zavon Watkins scored on a 65-yard run, and Nick Credit scored on a 45-yard reverse as the defending champions held strong down the stretch.
Renton Rangers 30, Pac Highway Chargers 0
The Lil’ Rangers defense, led by Patrick Turner (9 tackles on the day) and Marques Meneese (7 tackles), showed up and showed out as they posted their 4th shutout in five games. On offense, Raylen Witherspoon ignited the Rangers’ with two 50-plus yard touchdown runs in the 1st quarter. Renton’s Kellen Hightower and Jordan Noel also found their way to the endzone as the Rangers improved to 5-0 on the season.

The Boyz from Beacon improved to 5-0 and handed the Panthers their first loss of the season. The Cowboys stingy defense was active, attacking the ball like bees on honey throughout the day. The Cowboys Sejhe Jackson caught a 60 yard touchdown pass from Marquawn McCraney for Beacon Hill’s first score, and McCraney also ran the ball for the Cowboys second score. Jason Finley, Jr. has a nice run for a score only to see it called back on a penalty. The Cowboys’ Man Man Davis put in some work, while teammates Jaylen Pellum, Sir Keenan Hart, Chris Wilson, Fred Green, Trenton Taylor and Carlos Clark, Jr. also had solid performances on the day.
Brave Pride 47, Kent Cobras 26
Brave Pride quarterback Quiten Chandler put on a stellar performance as he threw for three touchdowns and ran for two more scores as the Pride posted a 47-26 win over the Cobras. The Pride’s Beckett Swanson scored three touchdowns on the day, while teammate Devon Recabarren scored one rushing touchdowns and one defensive touchdown on a fumble recover that he ran in for a touchdown. Brave Pride’s Davonte Aaron caught a great pass for a 2-point conversion.
Pac Highway Chargers 19, Renton Rangers 6
The Rangers came in with a game plan to shutdown Pac Highway’s Ahfua “Papa” Isendre and the Chargers running attack, but the Chargers’ Sam Corbett spoiled that plan as he scored two touchdowns, including one on the second play of the game. The Rangers’ were able to contain Isendre most of the day, but he refused to be denied and broke loose for a 50-yard touchdown run. Renton’s lone score came on a “pick 6”, as the Chargers defense has yet to give up a touchdown this season.

In a battle on unbeaten teams, the Cowboys’ Marcus McCraney found the endzone multiple times as the defending champions remained unbeaten and on a path to repeat. The Cowboys Josh Connerly, Jr. also had a solid outing for the Cowboys.
Brave Pride 31, Kent Cobra 14
Brave Pride started the game off strong with a successful onside kick by NIc Ewing. Ewing also posted five sacks on the day to lead the Pride defensive attack. On offense, the Pride’s Minh Nguyen got things going early as he scored Brave Pride’s first touchdown of the game. Pride quarterback Rocco Traore followed up with a long touchdown pass to Jelani Guerrero for the first of Guerrero’s two touchdowns on the day, and teammate Alex Gilbert found his way to paydirt two times to round out the scoring for Brave Pride.

The Panthers kept their playoff hopes alive as Silas Ticeson found his way to the endzone.

The Lancers’ Jabez Tinae rushed for over 200 yards and three touchdowns as they Lancers posted an impressive win over the defending champions.
Pac Highway Chargers 26, Renton Rangers 8
The Rangers came into the game undefeated, but the Chargers put forth a strong defensive effort that kept Renton’s high-flying offense in check. The Chargers had three fumble recoveries and Darius Galon recorded an interception. On offense, the Chargers rushing attack proved to be too much for Renton as Ray Lavoll found his way to the endzone to give the Chargers an early 6-0 lead, and teammate Jaylen Bogan exploded for three second half touchdowns as they Chargers posted a big 26-8 win over Renton.
