Despite having 3 touchdowns called back on them, the Rangers were able to overcome a 14-point deficit late in the 3rd quarter to get a big win over SWAC.  The Rangers’ starting quarterback Javon Tade was sidelined during the game with an injury to his throwing hand, but came back in the 2nd half and led his team to victory. Tade completed 14 for 25 passes for 147 yards and 3 touchdowns.  Renton’s Sammy King may have had the biggest game of his career and was a huge factor for the Rangers, who remained undefeated. King, who filled in at quarterback after Tade went down, scored four touchdowns on the day (3 receiving) to help pace the Rangers on offense.  Renton running back Isaiah Kenard controlled the ground game with several big runs. Kenard came up with the biggest first down of the game, as he busted up the middle on a 4th and 7 play to keep the Rangers’ comeback hopes alive.  The rangers went on to score a few plays later to take the lead for good, and walked away with a hard-fought win
