Heir Football 8u defeated Lake Stevens 9u this weekend and showed once again why they are one of the top 8u teams in the country. The Pro Football Hall of Fame World Championship scouts were in attendance and presented Heir Football with the golden ticket after watching their performance.
The Heir Football Offensive Line was impressive to watch all day. The run game was led by an unconventional thunder and lighting backfield of Will Conroy Jr. and Dash Jones (both only 7 years old). Dash provided the tough runs up the middle and was difficult to bring down all game. Will Conroy did what the nation has become accustomed to watching him do which is score from anywhere on the field.
The Heir Defense was led by big performances from Linebacker Kareem “Beastmode” Smith and Linebacker J’Andre “Problem” Castillo. They both led the team in sacks and tackles for loss. Will Conroy had an interception in the first half. Cayne Rodriguez and Dash Jones both led the secondary with pass breakups and highlights worthy hits.
The team will be exciting to watch in the national postseason as they represent Washington state.
