The Panthers’ Keelan Thomas ran 50 yards on the first play scrimmage, while teammates  Joey Thomas III and Nick Credit also found their way to paydirt to propel the defending champions to 1-0 on the season.

Johnny Rogers and Rasaan Thomas each had runs over 65 yards, as the defending champions start the season off with a shutout win.

Pac Highway’s Isendra  “PAPA”  Ahfua  started the game with a 51yard kickoff return.

Renton Rangers 33, Kent Cobras 6
The Cobras 12 players played brave and hard against Renton’s 33.  MyKing Lee had the highlight for the day, as he stripped the ball from a Ranger, and took it to the house for a 55 yard touchdown. The Cobra 89ers – a young team on the rise – may be a team to avoid late in the season.

Jabez Tuaoa, Marshon Jones, Zachary Luz, and J’Shon Glover all scored touchdowns for SWAC.

CD’s one-two punch of Jazel  Jackson & Yemoni Bradley-Howell punched their way into the end zone to lead the Panthers.

SWAC 35, Brave Pride 0
Zacarya Cunningham had two touchdowns, while teammates Peter Laumea, Dayne Camacho, Caleb Clardy scored touchdowns as well to lead the Cougars over Brave Pride. On defense, Richard Garcia has 14 tackles, while Peter Laumea had three sacks and Jamiel Quilantang finished the day with two sacks.

The Lancers’ Terri Lopu brought his “A” game to Judkins Park as he posted 4 touchdowns and a 50 plus yard run to lead Puget Sound to a big win over the Panthers.

SWAC 38, Brave Pride 6
Bishop Jackson aka “Mr. SWAC “  led his team to a 38 – 0 over Brave Pride. Jackson and his teammate Dustyn Camacho both had two touchdowns on the day, while Randy Jackson and Oge Feo posted touchdowns on the day as well.

Pac Highway 19, Rainier Eagles 0
Jaylen Bogan had a 98 yard touchdown run, and teammate Ray Lavoll had 2 touchdowns on the day as the Chargers handed the defending champions their first loss in two years.
