Pac Highway quarterback QB Trevon BantaSweet led the charge as he carried the ball 4 times for 73 yards and two touchdown. BantaSweet also completed 2 of 3 passes for 32 yards in the season opener for both teams. The Chargers’ Jueliyan Williams had 4 carries for 86 yards and a touchdown, while teammate Tevita Takai had two touchdowns of his own.

The Pride went on the road and posted an impressive shut-out win to open their season.

The defending champions came from behind to beat a very tough Brave Pride team.

Pac Highway Chargers 26, Kent Cobras 0
With the absence of their starting running back Milton Arnold, the Pac Highway Chargers still managed to pull off a season opening win with a 26-0 win over the Cobras. Running back Jaylen Bogan had 7 carries for 71 yards and two touchdowns, while teammate Tohi Angilau had 9 carries for 89 yards and two touchdowns.
