Harriet Tubman Circle Awards Two Scholarships

The Harriet Tubman Circle of the Mount Zion Women’s Ministry recently awarded scholarship to Shamyra Sharazi and Enovi Chandler from the Mamie C. Smith Scholarship fund.

The scholarship is named after the late Mamie C. Smith, who was a dedicated and well-respected member of Mount Zion and a leader in the Harriet Tubman Circle. Sharazi and Chandler both recently graduated with honors. Both recipients were given $1,000.00 to pursue their education. The scholarship is presented annually to graduates with an interest in math and science careers.
