WYFL 8U Scores & Highlights 10-15-25

Federal Way Hawks 30, RISE 0

The Federal Way Hawks delivered a statement win on Saturday, shutting out Rise 29–0 in a dominant Washington Youth Football League 8U contest. The Hawks scored in every quarter and overwhelmed Rise with explosive plays, relentless defense, and disciplined execution. From the opening snap, Federal Way controlled both sides of the ball, establishing themselves as one of the top teams in the division.

After an early scoring run lit up the sideline, the Hawks followed with a safety and two more touchdowns before halftime, including a long pass play and a bruising red-zone score. Their defense repeatedly pushed Rise backward, forcing punts and capitalizing on mistakes. The second half brought more of the same, as the Hawks opened with a special teams touchdown and smothered any comeback attempt. Even as penalties disrupted several long gains, Federal Way stayed focused and maintained pressure throughout the game.

Rise showed flashes of life with a long run in the fourth quarter, but the outcome was never in doubt. The Hawks’ ability to recover from setbacks, stay disciplined, and execute their game plan was evident from start to finish. With the win, they remain a serious contender in the 8U division, pairing one of the league’s most potent offenses with a shutdown defense. Rise, meanwhile, will look to regroup and build off their moments of resilience as they prepare for the season’s home stretch.
