NW Premier 8U Scores And Highlights 9-25-24

HEIR 8U 20, NW Grizzlies 0 (1st Quarter quit)

HEIR Pressure 8U had an impressive performance against the NW grizzlies. HEIR’s Roman Ailport opened the game up with a 60-yard kickoff return touchdown, followed by quarterback Zyair Mora pass completion to Marquez Jackson for a successful 2-point conversion. Da’vion Papa Redding also broke free for a 45-yard touchdown. HEIR’s defense completely shut down the Grizzlies led by Isaiah Ansell, Isaiah Philips Jr, Kameron Ross along with the rest of the defense. Karmelo Fesili put the icing on the cake by scoring a 25-yard touchdown leading the Grizzlies to forfeit halfway through the first quarter as they would go on to win 20-0.

8U Parkland Raiders 18, 8U Gridiron 0

The Parkland Raiders 8U got the job done against Gridiron led by running back Ronin Oloapu who had two rushing touchdowns. Matthew Lata Jr. was an enforcer on defense as he made multiple tackles throughout the day. Quarterback George Ropati had a passing touchdown to tight end Ziggy Tuivaiave late in the fourth quarter to put the game away 18-0.

8U Benson Bruins 45, 8U Renton Rangers 0

Benson 8U had a field day against the Renton Rangers. Quarterback JB Failautusi had a monster day rushing as he gained 263 yards and scored four touchdowns. Failautusi also had a 23-yard passing touchdown to Liam Brown, Failautusi would also convert three extra points attempts. Kainoa Ongque contributed his first touchdown of the season. Bless Austin-Curry rushed for a 45-yard touchdown. Benson’s defense also had a tremendous led by Andrew “Bubba” Foushee with four tackles for loss and a forced fumble. Christopher Fulu also recorded a couple of sacks along with multiple tackles, along with Sio Ohi getting two onside kick recovery to keep the Ranger’s offense off the field as they would go on to win 45-0. The Renton Rangers played valiantly but came up short this week and will have to regroup to prepare for their next competition.

HEIR 9U 32, B12 10U 0

HEIR 9U had a momentous day against the B12 10U. Quarterback David Valentine was very efficient as he went 8/10 with 135 passing yards and two passing touchdowns. Valentine also had an interception returned for a touchdown on defense. Zay Johnson had a 40-yard touchdown along with AJ Burns who had a kick return touchdown and a receiving touchdown. The offense finished with Austin Jackson scoring an 80-yard touchdown and David Bell’s hard running two-point conversion from the ten yard-line. The defense led by Dejohn William who had two fumble recoveries, Josiah Sims with two sacks and four tackles and Nainoa Alexander who recorded three sacks as they would go on to win 32-0.
