Heir Football played their first game in the state of Washington and showed why they are competing with the best in the country, as they posted a pre-season win over the C2C Rams, a first-year franchise competing in the Northwest Premier Junior Football And Cheer League this season.
Heir got on the board early as Marquees Huggins scored on a 70-yard touchdown run on the first play of the game.
Heir quarterback Cayne Rodriquez ran a quarterback keeper around the edge for a 65-yard touchdown, while teammate J’Andre Castillo forced a fumble, picked it up and ran it back for a touchdown to round out the scoring.
Heir’s offensive line looked dominant driving defenders back 8-10 yards off the ball, and, according to youth football followers/insiders, this is a team is definitely one to watch, especially when they compete on the national level.
