Eastside Catholic 49, Hermiston 6

Eastside Catholic’s Jake Tiryakioglu completed 8 of 12 passes for 233 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Crusaders to an impressive victory over Hermiston. Jeremiah Burroughs had 105 all-purpose yards (58 rushing, 47 receiving) and two touchdowns, while teammate Jayden Reyes had 4 receptions for 92 yards and two touchdowns.

Defensively, the Crusaders allowed Hermiston to gain 237 yards of total offense, including 22 yards rushing. Hermiston quarterback Isaac Corey completed 20 of 38 passes for 215 yards and a touchdown.

Mt. Spokane 27, Roosevelt 0

Wildcats quarterback TJ Haberman completed 14 of 21 passes for 243 yards to lead Mt. Spokane to a shutout win over Roosevelt. Bode Garnder had seven catches for 127 yards and one touchdown, while Tristan Olson had six catches for 117 yards, to go along with two rushing touchdowns.

Defensively, the Wildcats held Roosevelt to 164 yards of total offense.

Arlington 54, Ballard 13

Down 13-0 in the first quarter, Ballard reduced the deficit to 13-6. However, Arlington scored 20 unanswered in route to a 54-13 victory in the first round of the state 3A playoffs.

Ridgeline 38, Seattle Prep 14

Ridgeline recorded six interceptions as they posted an impressive 38-14 victory over Seattle Prep.

Ridgeline quarterback Landon Garner finished with over 280 passing yards. Garner’s favorite target of the night, Brayden Allen, caught eight passes for 125 yards, while Kole LeGrant rushed for 124 yards and caught nine passes for 79 yards.

Seattle Prep’s Beau Oaksmith finished the game with 22 carries for 158 yards.

Mt. Tahoma 53, West Seattle 14

Mt. Tahoma recorded eight pass deflections and five interceptions as they defeated West Seattle. Sophomore Josh Durr led the way on defense with 10 tackles, including two tackles for loss.
