“My thoughts on the recent ICE killings are one, they’re tragic and they really shed light on the emotions that need to be showcased more throughout community, meaning empathy and compassion.”

“My thoughts on the ICE killings are this: this is literally what happens every other century, popping up and repeating itself, and instead of it being a Nazi swastika, they’re wearing face masks and wouldn’t wear them during COVID when people are actually sick, because they wear them to protect their identity and live out the video game, a virtual reality that they’ve played for the last two decades, because their inferiority is proven in real time.”

“It’s ridiculous. I think it’s crazy how these ICE, whatever they are, officers, can walk around with masks on, first of all, and I think it’s just another way for them to stereotype anyone now. I feel like Black folks have always been stereotyped against, but as we can see now, it doesn’t matter. It’s the Blacks, it’s the Hispanics. It’s just given them a reason to just come up to people and harass them. And as a Black woman, are you going to look at me and assume that I am from out of the country just because of the color of my skin? I am afraid. I’m concerned for my son. I am concerned about the state of the world today. I’m not happy about the ICE killings. I think it’s ridiculous and unfortunate. So the world better wake up.”

“It’s unacceptable. There are no other words. Literally, it’s unacceptable. There needs to be some change somewhere. And we have to come together and do it. The more we sit back and stay quiet, the more it happens. But we have to come together in real action and a necessary plan to stop what’s going on, together, peacefully.”

“I found the current events quite disturbing. Beyond the harassment, what is the deeper intention with all of this? This is blatantly a violation of certain constitutional rights. I don’t know what to think of this other than it is very disturbing, to say the least.”
