Minimum Security Incarcerated Individual Escaped From Correctional Industries HQ

TUMWATER – Wash. State Department of Corrections (DOC) and local law enforcement are searching for minimum security incarcerated individual Christopher Brinkley, 33, who escaped from Correctional Industries (CI) Headquarters in Tumwater, WA on August 30, 2024.

Brinkley was incarcerated at Cedar Creek Corrections Center, a minimum security facility in Littlerock, WA and was at CI headquarters as part of his approved work program. He was convicted in King County earlier this year of tampering with a witness and protection order violation and had an earned release date of June 16, 2026.

Brinkley was last seen around noon, wearing a red shirt and khaki pants.

DOC staff and law enforcement are searching the area. If you see Brinkley, do not approach him. Instead, Please call 911  or DOC headquarters at (360)480-2696.
