2020 presidential candidates when addressing the African American community should talk about our Black youth. All this violence, Black on Black violence against each other, also the killing of our people by the police and their shoot first and ask questions later.
Rosalind Wilson…
Candidates should address the hiring of more Black police and fire fighters to police and protect our neighborhoods. Housing isn’t affordable to the average Black person as well as cost of living doesn’t reflect our paychecks. They should also address property taxes and the legalization of weed while the law is unclear of the definition of legalization.

What I would like to be addressed by the candidates is one abortion rights and women’s rights but what I would also liked to be addressed is the LGBTQ community, assistance when it comes to immigration rights and funding when it comes to school, especially for people who are stuck in the low income bracket

I am studying respiratory therapy at Seattle Central College and I think the candidates should address the environment particularly air quality because of air pollution. Candidates should really look to support things such as carpooling and issues that address the environment.
Jaeden Thomas…
What I think they need to bring in front of the Black community is addressing the poverty issues and bringing about the issue of affordable housing in our impoverished areas, areas that are still rebuilding such as those communities affected by Hurricane Katrina and other areas affected by disasters over the years.
Nia Jones…
One thing I feel candidates should bring to the African American community for the 2020 election is more funding for institutions that help Black youth in the Black community. Helping kids get out of gangs and giving them the education that is needed for a positive future. Yeah, especially funding for education.
