Kappa Alpha Psi Partners With Immaculate Conception And First A.M.E. For 1st Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway

The Seattle Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, a historically African American college fraternity, will be giving out 50 organically-raised turkeys to community members experiencing financial strain. The event, hosted in partnership with Immaculate Conception Church and First A.M.E of Seattle, will take place on Sat., Nov. 20 from 9:00 am to 12 noon at the William “Czar” Meredith Memorial Kappa House located at 516 – 22nd Ave. E. in Seattle.

Responding to the community call for support, Seattle Alumni Kappa’s, led by Vice-Polemarch Mychael Harris, will be joined by Bright Ide Acres, a locally owned farm that raises animals with compassionate care, to begin what we hope will become a Thanksgiving tradition. Immaculate Conception and First A.M.E Church will help identify families to receive the turkeys.
