After being nominated for a Northwest Regional Emmy Award in the Historical/Cultural – Short Film category for “The Untold Stories of Black Women in the Women’s Suffrage Movement,” KD Hall Communications is celebrating with a virtual Emmy Awards Gala co-hosted by the Washington State Women’s Commission on Sat. June 5 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. The film
The film, commissioned by the Washington State Women’s Commission to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which granted women the right to vote, features CEO of Seattle Urban League Michelle Merriweather and Honorable Judge Anita Crawford Willis, and KD Hall Foundation 2019 college ambassador cohort.
